Jacob Birge as a vision, brand, label, installation, soundscape and person is at the start of a phenomenal journey – the vision is explained as: “…a forward thinking fashion brand specialising in the high-end, modern, women’s wear and accessories. It includes multidiscipline medias such as sound design, visual installations and fashion movies in order to present a clear and personal vision.”
At SpencerClothing we are always keen to promote, collaborate, discuss and digest businesses on our doorstep – the fashion industry is tough and we believe each of us must do our best to support, nurture, mentor each other in any way we can.
The latest Jacob Birge SS/14 movie / film short can be seen here:
The Jacob Birge mission – “we exist to attract conscious, open-minded, brave customers…” are you ready to embrace the vision? JACOBBIRGE
At SpencerClothing we’ve long been fans of Dior (originals) and to hear of the exhibition in Shanghai with Patrick Demarchelier photography, what an experience that will be to witness.
Maybe you don’t speak French but Demarchelier’s turn of phrase is so subtle the nuances not really embraced in the English translation however a joy to hear his vision for the shots he talks about. It’s great also to hear the enlightening approach to developing a relationship with the models and of course – like us here; virtually no touch-up or photographic trickery.
What a great man.
You can find out more about the exhibition: ‘Esprit Dior‘ on the Dior website.
Coco Chanel made some amazing proclamations, “Go to Heaven and Dress the Angels”. What a fascinating study of the most persistent woman.

Scotland has many more fashion designers than the glorious works of Christopher Kane, Louise Gray and our friends like Chloe and Mhairi at Bebaroque – who have you heard of that you love and follow?
We are so fortunate to be working with so many fabulous people; this month we’ve formed a fantastic relationship with Miss Sunny Nersian; why not check out her website: http://www.sunnyn.co.uk/ or click on the image above to visit her Twitter page.
Love you Sunnny; Hugs and Kisses xx
For new (and existing) stockists of the latest collection from SpencerClothing you have the potential of an extra 60 people tweeting about the availability of the stock in your store.
If you’re new to the story – we made a point of naming each garment style after a selection of our Twitter followers; we included unknown fans, fashion Bloggers and celebrities – their Twitter name is printed on the supplied swing-ticket and named on our website. This has the benefit of not only them promoting the fact that they’ve seen it in a magazine on TV or walking down the High Street – in addition to repeating that it is now available in your store!
Following is a selection of excited Tweeters that are involved in our journey – if you’d like to know more feel free to get in touch: http://www.spencerclothing.com/contact/
